Portable Careers
If you’re not ready to live your father’s (or grandfather’s) retirement, your best bet for supporting yourself overseas is with a profession that’s portable, one you can take with you wherever you go. Unless you have highly specialized skills that are in high demand in your new country, you’re probably not going to find a job, so some sort of business or self employment is in order.
Here are helpful resources to help you gain the information and skills to need to work almost anywhere in the world.
All the links on this page are affiliate links, which means if you click on them and actually buy something, I’ll earn a small commission. (It helps keep this website going, but you pay nothing more for buying through these links.)
I have personally done business with each of the companies on this page, although I have not bought each and every product listed. I am satisfied that they all offer good value for the money you spend, and provide quality information. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
