Poll Results: What Part of Panama Should I Write About Next?

Rainbow over Panama City, PanamaA few weeks ago I asked you, dear readers and future expats, to weigh in on what part of Panama other than Panama City itself you’d like to hear about next.

Here are your responses:

    1. El Valle — 20%
    2. Penonome — 20%
    3. David — 20%
    4. Boquete — 10%
    5. Santa Fe — 10%
    6. Santiago — 6.67%
    7. Other — 13.33%

“Other” places mentioned included Punta Chame, a comparison of Boquete and El Valle and Penonome (again).

To all who responded, thank you for weighing in. And, while I can’t promise to review these areas in this order, your responses do give me a good indication of what parts of the country interest you.

And I have to admit, I was a bit surprised. Nobody expressed an interest in Pedasi, for example. Which makes me wonder, is it just that not much has been written about it yet? Or is it truly of interest to none of you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Until I visit (or revisit) some of these towns, here are my initial first impressions of David and Las Tablas from our scouting trip last year.

And here are some photos of David’s park in the center of the city.
